Dream Team Couch – 2008 AFL Dream Team Blog

Okay well….hi for the first time in a couple of weeks we are currently taking a break, thus the reason for the lack of posts yet thought we better just have a review of normal DT for 2008 and a quick preview into Finals DT 2008.

AFL Dream Team for season 2008, We had some absolute guns this year that made it to DTL status which of course means Dream Team Legend Status. Some of the standouts were; Gary Ablett, Jimmy Bartel, Dean Cox, Joel Corey, Dane Swan, Kane Cornes, Matthew Pavlich, Scott Thompson, Matthew Richardson and Daniel Cross. These guys all had stellar years averaging 97+!

Of course it was a year filled by injuries as well with many big names being forced to miss games. We had the trade drought towards the end of the season, with trades becoming very scarce. So this raises the question, how did you go? Where did you finish? Win league? Make any m,istakes you will fix next year? Reveal all in a comment.

AFL FINALS DT PREVIEW

Okay well finals DT starts this week and we have managed to get a bit of a league going, seems the winner will have ultimate bragging rights on the site all summer.

So how did you pick your side? Of course we all know there could only be 3 per team, what tactics did you use? Did you use your three Geelong players as midfeilders (Ablett, Bartel, Corey) or did you use them as backmen (Milburn, Mackie)??? Similar circumstances with the Hawthorn team with three of their midfeilders easily capable of playing in the midefield. Well reveal your tactics below and let’s get into Finals DT.
