(K2H) Kick To Handball Ratio

Marc Murphy loves to get boot to ball.

D-Rat gave a mention to this Ratio last week in his Collingwood Club Analysis however it is such an important one that i thought we would go into a bit more depth about it. The Kick to Handball Ratio, other wise known as the K2H Ratio is a qualtity trait for your players to have, Why? Have a look at this…..

A player gets 30 disposals and 10 marks.
K2H Ratio 2:1 = That player scores 110 dream team points.
K2H ratio 1:2 = That player only scores 100 dream team points.

That 10 points adds up after all your players have played to 220 points. Also 1:2 isn’t the worst ratio you will see. Okay so you understand the K2H Ratio so who does this mean we have a look at and should try and get players like?

Consider…

Alan Didak (306 Kicks to 68 handballs in 2008 = K2H Ratio of 5:1), Paul Medhurst (222 kicks to 44 handballs in 2008 = K2H Ratio of 5:1), Clinton Young (190 kicks to 67 handballs in 2008 = K2H Ratio of 3:1), Nathan Bock (258 kicks to 127 handballs in 2008 = K2H Ratio of 2:1), Marc Murphy (266 kicks to 130 handballs in 2008 = K2H Ratio of 2:1)

So there you have it the K2H Ratio, a ratio that can help bring your team to ultimate success.
