Reguarded as the best dream teamer and possibly best player in the AFL in 2008, Ablett was the first player to crack the magical half a million dollar mark ($500,000). After averaging 133from rounds 8 through to 13 Ablett had a quiet game last week only getting 78 and forcing his price to drop back to $490k. He is currently the seventh most selected player in the dream team competetion with 67,999 coachescoughing up the money to place him in their midfeild and the majority of them giving him leadership double point duties as captain. So the question is now how will he go in the back half of the season? Let’s take a look….

Last Time they Met: Round 6 2008 Scored 76 Dream Team Points.
Note: Last time these two teams met Ryan Crowley put a very hard tag on Ablett, expect the same. Only difference could be that the game is being played at Skilled Stadium, may have an effect on Ablett’s performance in a possitive way.
Round 16 v Bulldogs
Career Average Against Bulldogs: 82.9 in 10 matches.
Last Time they Met: Round 16 2007, scored 130 dream team points.
Note: The bulldogs will not necessarily tag Ablett as they will try and use their on ballers to gain large amounts of disposals.

Career Average Against Hawthorn: 69.3 in 8 matches.
Last Time they Met: Round 4 2007, scored 74 dream team points.
Note: Hawthorn is the 3rd worst team Gary scores dream team points against.

Note: Put him as Captain this week, in his last three games against the Tigers he averages 121 points per game.
Round 19 v Melbourne
Career Average Against Melbourne: 74.2 from 11 matches.
Last Time they Met: Round 3 2008, scores 108 points.
Note: With Melbourne having such a bad year, no reason why Gary can’t easily rack up another 100+ point game here.
Round 20 v Sydney
Career Average Against Sydney: 79 from 8 matches.
Last Time they Met: Round 5 2008, scored 150.

Round 21 v Kangaroos
Career Average Against Kangaroos: 76.7 from 12 matches.
Last Time they Met: Round 11 2008, scored 148 points.
Note: North Melbourne have said they don’t try and tackle Ablett, they let him dispose of the ball which means more dream team points. Yay!
Round 22 v West Coast
Career Average Against West Coast: 81.8 from 8 matches.
Last Time they Met: Round 13 2008, scored 147 points.
Note: No-one was capable of going near him and he was able to rack up the disposals.
