Break Even Bin – Round 15 Break Evens

The Bin is BACK! Firstly a little apology about ther lack of posts lately, been a bit caught up in other things. Moving on one of the Couch’s favourite segments, the Break Even Bin, proudly brought to you by Celebrity Publishing is now moving on to take a look at the Round 15 break evens. As usual the best, worst and most popular break evens will be on show. Buddy, Big Cox, JB, Shawy, Valenti, Richo and Gazza will all take a jump into the bin, so let’s get into it and start with the best Break Evens;

ONE MAN’S TRASH IN ANOTHER MAN’S TREASURE – BEST BREAK EVENS

  1. Robert Eddy (St Kilda) -62
St Kilda youngster who has shown good form in the last two weeks, has only played two games which means he has ripened and is ready to be picked with you benefiting from the massive price jump sure to come over the next 5 games he plays. Scored 74 and 45 in the ;ast two weeks and providing he scores around his average this week of 60 you can expect a first week price jump of around $40,000.
  2. Tom Collier (Brisbane) -38
Young Brisbane Defender who has also played just two games so he is at the perfect stage to be included in your 30 man squad. 64 and 39 in Round 13 & 14 means he will look to jump around $30,000 this week providing he plays again.
  3. Shane Valenti (Melbourne) -38
  4. Brent Renouf (Hawthorn) -34
  5. Jake Edwards (Carlton) -30
  6. Lachlan Hansen (Kangaroos) -23
  7. Jarryd Allen (St Kilda) -16
  8. Nick Lower (Port Adelaide) -15
  9. John Anthony (Collingwood) -13
  10. Joel Bowden (Richmond) -10
Had to give this guy a mention, it’s very rare that such an established player who started the year over $400,000 gets himself into this list. However we all know the deal with Bowden. His comeback has been the reason why he finds himself on this list. He is now only $370,000 and has scored a fantastic 180 & 117 in his last two games. Look for him to rise about $30,000+.

HURRY THROW IT OUT, IT STINKS! – WORST BREAK EVENS

  1. Scott Thompson (Adelaide) 199
So consistent early in the year but having the Pink Pig (Cam Ling) follow him around last week has put him on this list. Scores of 59 and 80 in the last two rounds has killed his price and a durther drop of $30,000 plus this week looks to be on the cards.
  2. Matthew Richardson (Richmond) 179
Dissapointing to see Richo Man on the Worst Break Evens chart after he was having such a super year. A score of 48 has killed him last week after he spent a fair bit of time on the bench and now Doctor DJ reports he could miss more games. Cmon Richo.
  3. Simon Black (Brisbane) 164
  4. Brock McLean (Melborne) 159
  5. Gary Ablett (Geelong) 154
Gary Ablett is in the bad list now and unfortunately looks as though his price might take a drop with him only scoring 78 last week. His once mighty price of $500,000 plus looks as though it could be down around $480,000 next week.
  6. Damien Peverill (Essendon) 151
  7. Jonathan Brown (Brisbane) 150
  8. Nick Dal Santo (St Kilda) 145
  9. Jarrad McVeigh (Sydney) 145
  10. Jason Akermanis (Bulldogs) 145

BIG BRAND TRASH – MOST POPULAR BREAK EVENS

  1. Lance Franklin (Hawthorn) 142
  2. Cyril Rioli (Hawthorn) 74
  3. Dean Cox (West Coast) 68
  4. Heath Shaw (Collingwood) 27
  5. Matthew Kruezer (Carlton) 43
  6. Matthew Pavlich (Fremantle) 105
  7. Jarryd Roughead (Hawthorn) 42
  8. Kurt Tippet (Adelaide) 20
  9. Rhys Palmer (Fremantle) 98
  10. Chris Judd (Carlton) 107

Well that’s all for this week in the Bin, if by any chance there is a specific players break even that was not included in this weeks edition just post a comment and either one of the Couch boys or a member of the Dream Team public who knows their stuff will get back to you.
