Winners are Grinners

It a scientific fact that a winning teams players generally score better than a losing teams players, to back up this claim heres a bit of evidence. Geelong, a well known winning team averages 1658 dream team points per game in 2008, the best in the AFL. A losing team, aka, Melbourne, averages only 1480 dream team points per game in 2008, one of the worst in the AFL. So now that you know it’s true what’s my point? Pick players or Captains from teams who are going to have a good game (a big win) in the coming round. Smart isn’t it! Okay so who is going to win this week? Let’s have a look…….

Hawthorn vs West Coast

Hawthorn clear favourites to win here after the Eagles were smashed last week by Geelong. Official TAB Sportsbet odds – Hawthorn $1.06 to West Coast $8.50

Richmond vs Carlton

A week ago you would not have thought Richmond would be favourites to win this one but they are with the odds being $1.62 to $2.15 in their favour.

Kangaroos vs St Kilda

In what you would think should be a close fought game with the Kangaroos trying to cem,ent themselves in the eight, the Roos are the odds on favourites to win $1.55 to $2.35.

Western Bulldogs vs Port Adelaide

Obvious that the Bulldogs should win this one fairly easy, meaning that their midfeilders (Cooney and Cross) should rack up the disposals. Dogs $1.14 to Port $5.25

Melbourne vs Brisbane

Well Melbourne are struggling and Brisbane arn’t that bad, Brisbane favourites to win $1.20 to $4.20 which means the Brisbane forwards will get the opportunity to kick goals (Brown & Bradshaw* if he plays)

Fremantle vs EssendonMatthew_pavlich

Despite Essendon’s win against the Blues last week it does not get them into the favourites spot to win this game, the odds are $1.52 to $2.40. Opportunity for the Big Pav to kick a bag against the team who avergaes the worst dream team points per game in 2008.

Adelaide vs Geelong

$1.15 to $5.00 in which teams favour? Geelong of course! Cats smashed the eagles last week racking up 1886 dream team points between their 22 players combined, proof that when the cats have a big game so does any dream team with a few Geelong players.

Sydney vs Collingwood

Sydney are going ok at the moment and that’s what would lead them to be favourites to win this game $1.40 to $2.70. Barry Hall in great form, can the Pies defence hold him??? Keep in mind Sydney without Adam Goodes.
