Hahahahahahaha…..oh there have been some absolute rippers this week, stupid people just having no luck, or no brains and making the worst possible moves by either getting rid of a guy who has carved up the opposition or getting on a player who couldn’t get a kick on the weekend. Yep that’s right Selection screw up’s is back for Round 13 and as usual we’ll have a look at some silly moves that have cost the dream team coaches. With some big names making it in this week it is certainly an edition of Selection Screw Up’s that you don’t want to miss so read on and get stuck into it.
Ok let’s kick it off with some people who are just a couple of months behind and have decided to jump on a a guy who usually is a dream team gun, unfortunately Chad Cornes is having injury and form problems and has only managed to score 44 against the Tigers on the weekend. Dropping nearly $24,000 he turned out not to be such a good pick up for 2,808 coaches.
Slightly out of form Geelong Midfeilder, Joel Corey, has not been his usual self lately, with a score of just 71 in a game where the cats SMASHED the Eagles is far below his personal expectations, unfortunately he was also below 2,201 dream team coaches expectations who picked him up this week only for him to drop nearly $13,000 in value.
Well now we know why they call him Buddy Love, dream team coaches just love Lance Franklin despite him scoring only 66 in round 12, 1,249 people jumped on board Buddy just in time for him to get another low and pathetic score of 49. As an added bonus he also plummeted $21,700 in value for them.
1,720 dream team coaches thought Kurt Tippet from the Adleaide Crows’ time was up. He scored a mere 15 points in round 12 falsely tricking people into thinking he had peaked. Just when they dumped him, he bounced back getting 75 and rising $12k in value, Nice work Kurt!
Carlton fat boy but also much loved Dream Team player, Nick Stevens, wasn’t feeling the love from 1,074 dream team coaches who decided to part ways with the Blues midefeilder. ‘Stevo’ got his revenge though scoring a very nice 122 and brought his break even back to a very gettable 91. Way to show em Stevo!
After more break evens? Then be sure to check this weeks edition of ‘The Break EVen Bin’ which will be released on Wednesday.
