It was 8 games of big scores in DT this week, Fev amassed 155, Bocky had the game of his life with 151 and Cooney, Richo and Scotty Thompson also shone with scores above 140. Whilst these scores were sensational, there was one man who caught my eye as he took the game by storm racking up big DT points in a very short amount of time. This man was Jared Brennan.
Whilst he only managed 75 points for the match, Brennan managed a purple patch like no other. At the 19 minute mark of the first quarter in the game between the lions and dogs, Brennan sat on a lonely 0 points, until he decided to start playing some footy. By the 22 minute and 45 second mark, brennan was on 33, he managed 33 points in 3 minutes and 45 seconds, not bad! Brennan went crazy for a few minutes, had multiple one’ two’s between his team, many marks including a hanger and a goal. If only we saw this effort from a player for an entire game, we would be seeing scores around 1056!… Well down Brennan.
