Wrap up of injuries this week for many popular DT guns. How are you fairing with your injuries this year? Had much issues, which injuries have really hurt?
Brad Symes- At first it was 2-3 weeks out for this guy, then that turned two another week out and another week out and other week out until 7 weeks later he is apparently available for return this week, finally! Symes has pissed a few Dream Teamers off with this injury as the tactic for many was to rest him on interchange until he returns, ouch. Dont worry though, Symes really should be available for selection this week unless something goes terribly wrong.
Daniel Bradshaw- Hammy couple of weeks ago finished his DT day with 6 points, ouch. Missed last week and will have a test this week to see if he comes up. Was tested last week with the hammy and didnt pull up, and unfortunately at this stage the sam eis expected with Leigh Matthews stating yesterday that he remains doubtful for the game on the weekend. This is not ruling him out, hammy’s seem to have a sense of humor and like to muck around even if its fine, stayed tuned later on in the week for more updates….
Michael Rischitelli- Is listed as a test this for this weekend due to his hip injury, but is expected to play this weekend.
Andrew Walker- One more week away for the gun blues backman with his shoulder injury. Had surgery earlier on in the year and hasnt played so far. Could be handy to fix some backline woes come finals time when his price has dropped.
Bachar Houli- Will have a test for his groin this week.
Matthew Scarlett- His hammy is going along as expected and is due to return round 14. Last week was Scarlett’s first miss of a game in a very long time.
Shane Crawford- Still a test with his knee tendonitis, has been listed as a test for a while now and like i have previously said things dont look good for Crawf in continuing his career after this year but could play this week.
Brent Guerra- A test this week on his hammy, he has missed the four weeks which was expected at first so according to the initial expectation he should play this week, and the hawks agree, Tim Clarke stating he should be right to play.
Chance Bateman- Bad news, should be out for around 2-3 weeks, has been a very night dream teamer until he pulled his hammy.
Nathan Thompson- Missed a couple now with his knee, and is still a test for the weekend. Although it seems as though he should pull up and be alright for the weekend.
Hamish Macintosh- Very bad news for the rising ruckman from the roos, his knee injury is going to set him back 8-10 weeks. Not much else to say here other than not good for the roos, Hamish and dream teamers.
Brett Ebert- A test for the ankle which injured whilst kicking 6 goals. Port believe he should pull up alright.
Jake King- Hammy for the King, will be sitting on the sidelines for at least 1 more week but most likely 2, if you have him on your interchange, two donuts in a row dont look pretty.
Kane Johnson- Another 1-2 for Kane’s knee, probably two weeks aswell as King.
Justin Koshitsme- His jarred knee which kept him out of last weeks game will be tested once more, was a late change last week and will hopefully be alright to play.
Daniel Kerr- A costly late withdrawl from last weeks game against the bombers due to a calf injury, will be tested this week, the eagles need him.
Chad Fletcher- Should be available this week after back issues.
Shaun Higgins- ‘Higgo’ should be back in 4 weeks, his recovery is going along as planned and will be a welcome return to the dogs side. Watch Higgins for next year, will be putting up some very decent DT scores.
