Selection Screw Up’s – Round 12

Okay a favourite section is back for this week, Selection Scew Up’s, where we have a look and most likely a laugh at some tools who have just screwed up with their selections for round 12. Now in recent weeks we have been looking at people who have just picked bad players, for example ones who are out for the rest of the year with an injury. This week however we are going to mix it up, we’ll have a look at who used one of their precious trades and it just …..didn’t pay off. Theres some big names mentioned including everyones most hated Heath Shaw so it is certainly a segment not to miss. Enjoy….

Okay well as i have allready mentioned this guy we will kick off proceddings with him, Heath Shaw. Known as one of the premium defenders in the league a few people decided to get on him this week, because he has a low price you would think it is a bargain pick up, unfotunately for 3,203 people who traded him in this week it was not the best move, Heath scored 22 and dropped $43,600.

3,361 people must have felt shattered after trading in Buddy Franklin last week, although in the long run it may be an allright move, they certainlty were not feeling that way on the weekend with Buddy only getting 66 and dropping $4,600. Just to top it off he also got reported, Well done coaches, that’s what you get for trying to jump on the Buddy Train after it’s left the platform.

Joel McDonald from the Brisbane Lions had a good week last week scoring a very nice 108, 1,451 people got a bit excited and let one of their valuble trades go to get him. Unfotunately for them he only scored 57 and dropped $12,400 in value.

Okay something a bit different here, 640 dream team coaches decided to get off Brad Ebert from the West Coast Eagles, little did they know they should of held onto him for at least one more week, he scored 83 and went up $29,700 in round 12.

Surprisingly 575 people also decided to say goodbye to young Cat Joel Selwood, they did so a week early as Joel ripped up Port Adelaide on Sunday scoring 119 and rose $9,900 and gave himself an easy break even for round 13 of just 44.

Well that’s it for this week, more Selection Screw Up’s next Monday…Gaz
