Ok welcome back to another edition of the break even bin, just a reminder for those who missed last weeks post or can’t remember, a break even is the score a player must get the coming week in order for them to retain their current value. Well this week we are going to have a look at some absolute beauties such as the up and coming Jarryd Morton, Scott Lucas is representing the bomber in the worst break even category and everyones favourite, Buddy Franklin features in the most popular. So here they are…..
ONE PERSONS TRASH IS ANOTHERS TREASURE – BEST BREAK EVENS
- Jarryd Morton (Hawthorn) -69

Well this guy is certainly going to go up in value this week, having only played 2 games and has a current price of $83,500 Morton looks a good pick with scores of 57 and 75 in the last 2 rounds. - Shane Valenti (Melbourne) -62
Well it’s the same deal as last week really, we know this guys a gun and it’s just a matter of when he next gets a game, maybe with the Robbo injury now is his time? - Beau Wilkes (West Coast) -59
Another guy that has only played 2 games and is yet to rise in value from his starting price of $72,600. Looks quite impressive with scores of 53 and 61 in round 9 and 10. - Tim Houlihan (West Coast) -58
- Josh Kennedy (Hawthorn) -48
- Clinton Jones (St Kilda) -16
- Sharrod Wellingham (Collingwood) -13
- Brad Ebert (West Coast) -7
- Paul Stewert (Port Adelaide) -3
- Jonathan Brown (Brisbane) 0
Again awesome to see this bloke on the best break even category, awesome to see his price climb a further $49,100 this week if like me you have him in your team you will be very happy! If not it may be getting a bit late to jump on board.
HURRY THROW IT OUT! IT STINKS! – WORST BREAK EVENS
- Scott Lucas (Essendon) A whopping 236!
Well good luck getting this one Scotty, he should get it though if he kicks about 18 goals. Good Luck! If you have Scott Lucas in your team and he gets 33 like he did last week be prepared to cop a massive price drop. - Marc Murphy (Carlton) 163

Well this goes to show what two bad games can do. Marc has been one of the best picks of the year except for the last two rounds where he has scored 54 and 68, now his price has to start to suffer. - Lenny Hayes (St Kilda) 149
When your a gun like Lenny Hayes and have one bad week this is what happens, you end up on the worst break evens list, Hayes had a 52 in a side that smashed Melbourne, prior to that he has scored 100+ in 4 out of the 6 last rounds. Expect him to bounce back. - Brett Burton (Adelaid) 146
- Chris Knights (Adleaide) 143
- Brad Sewell (Hawthorn) 141
- Sam Mitchell (Hawthorn) 137
- Adam Selwood (West Coast) 125
- Brad Green (Melbourne) 131
- Tadgh Kennelly (Sydney) 130
BIG NAME BREAK EVENS – POPULAR PLAYERS HAVE THEIR B.E REVIEWED
- Gary Ablett (Geelong) 105

- Daniel Bradshaw (Brisbane) 33
- Chad Cornes (Port Adelaide) 120
- Brendan Fevola (Carlton) 95
- Lance Franklin (Hawthorn) 114
- Lindsay Gilbee (Western Bulldogs) 55
- Tom Hawkins (Geelong) 73
- David Hille (Essendon) 32
- Brad Johnson (Western Bulldogs) 75
- Chris Judd (Carlton) 95
- Andrew McLeod (Adelaide) 105
- Rhys Palmer (Fremantle) 68
- Matthew Richardson (Richmond) 119
- Dale Thomas (Collingwood) 43
Well that’s all for this week once again like to remind readers that these stats are from the FF Genie which can be found in our sidebar back on the homepage, also we have another new category being released soon which is ‘the what if phantom’ and if you like the break even bin you will love this. Stay tuned for it’s release.

Brilliant stuff Gaz, a great read!
bloody kennelly i have held onto him the whole year and his only got a few scores to be happy with as well as missing games. worth keeping or worth trading off?
yeah i’d keep him
or maybe trade for Mcphee (he’s coming good) or Mcleod
he’s not doing too bad though
