Probably only two weeks away, Port Adelaide superstar Chad Cornes is D-Rat’s Dilemma for Round 8. Cornes averages 101 points per game this season with no score lower than 58 and is arguably the most handy and reliable defender in Dream Team. With the full extent of the injury unknown is difficult to anticipate his return. Two factors which make this decision of should he stay or should he go easier will be; who are you playing this round? and How many trades do you have remaining? Study your opponent, if they are a consistently high scoring team and you don’t have a decent replacement, he’s gotta go. If you made 2 trades every week or are running low on trades regardless I recommend keeping the gun and just being patient. Another good idea is to inspect you opponent’s team and they have him still just play it by ear and copy what they do.
If you decide to trade big Chad some good buys are:
DEF: Anyone because you can afford them all! Heath Shaw (COL) probably the best. For good value consider Jarryd Roughead (HAW), Austin Wonaeamirri (MEL), Jared Brennan (BRI)
MID: Adam Goodes (SYD), James Kelly (GEE), Kane Johnson (RIC), Marc Murphy (CAR), Joel Corey (GEE). For a bargain Steven Browne (CAR) $83,500 and averages 75, about to go up at the end of Round 8.

Yep, not too much credibility when the wrong Cornes is pictured.
And wonamirri is terrible advice. If you dont have him now you missed the boat. He’ll come back off the senior list as soon as Neitz recovers which is said to be round 12. Sure he’ll still keep going up after a 97 but not enough to warrant using a trade.
Everyone should already have Heath Shaw, if not, you probably don’t really care about DT, and Roughhead… hmmm, not convinced he’ll keep going the way he has been so far at all. Jared Brennen…??… far too much smoke… why not play the percentages and recommend a guy like Purgoyne, Milburn, Bock, McCleod, Goddard, Fisher, or any of the other generally consistent backs.
